Every time I draw Evan, I giggle. Partially because his full name is Evander Vaine which is just- so pretentious?? And yeah, I did name him that, so what? It's fitting.

The other bit is because I like pointing at him and going 'I know what you are'. I love characters who's looks don't belay their personalities. Like, he seems so nice and friendly, a true boy next door type. That's the point, even! That's his archetype in the 'game' at the center of Main Character Syndrome, where he's one of the three potential love interests for the titular main character.

But like, that 'game', Memoir Of The Lost, is also a mystery 'game' first and foremost. Nothing is as it seems, especially not the supposedly innocent love interests.
