Fun fact! The whole reason I made Quinn a demon is for the 'speed demon' pun. You know? Cause they're a track star? I think I'm funny :D

Quinn specializes in long distance runs, they're your 5000m and 10,000m runner, while Jem (who, fun fact, was also in track) is more of a short distance and hurdles kind of guy. Between the two of them, Jem is faster but has a lot less endurance.

Of course, due to Jem wearing heels all the time, no one really knows that Jem is faster- Jem isn't even on the track team at the college (due to, well, the whole vaguely non-Euclidean nature of the universe the college exists in). I actually have a really funny seen in mind where Quinn and Jem race each other and Jem just smokes Quinn, it isn't even close.

Also I lowkey adore Quinn's thighs in this. The anatomy is simply on point, exactly like I had in mind. I have peaked.

Another theoretical question:

You know how you could theoretically distill the iron from blood in order to make a sword from it? Yea? Do you think someone with blood manipulation could therefore also take the iron from blood and use that as a weapon? Or would it no longer count as blood? What even defines blood in the case of blood manipulation?
