Hi! Just another DA refugee from before the site went stupid. I will be posting one art piece every Friday until I run out of backlog!

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of months ago. It was such an early, contained stage that they actually called it Stage 0. Then she had her operation to get the tumor removed, and pathology immediately catapulted her to a Stage 2 instead. The tumor had grown so fast that the center of it had necrotized (the cells died because the abrupt growth cut off blood and nutrients to older cells).
This has been terrifying. If this hadn't been caught when it did, the outcome wouldn't have been so positive. This was a close call.
I encourage all of you who are biologically female to please, please keep up with your screenings. She had no symptoms, no idea. It was only caught because of a routine mammogram. If she'd have neglected that, well... it doesn't bear thinking about.
In other news, well, my backlog of art has long been caught up with and I have no new art. So for now, I'm content to just watch other people have fun. You guys are great, keep up the good work! Also, school. Ugh. I'm so tired of school. But I have a long way to go...
Anyway, feel free to catch me up with you. I wish you all the best. May your favorite snacks always be in stock.
