Art programs you have but don't use?
I have Krita installed for animation purposes, but I never have time to animate so I never use it :P I will also probably uninstall it once I've bought CSP EX because I won't need it anymore lol

Is it easier to draw someone facing left, right, or forward?
Forward for sure. Side profiles are also easier than 3/4 imo. People who draw the same 3/4 angle every piece are built different istg I admire you lot

What ideas come from when you were little?
What counts as little? Because I started thinking about Operation Amarillo when I was like 14. If we're talking LITTLE little, then Desiree's design hasn't really changed since I was 8.

Favorite character or subject that's a bitch to draw?
Shirt collars ARHGRHGHGHDHR GRRRRR p much all my OCs wear button-up shirts and I struggle with them EVERY TIME

Estimate of how much of your art you post online VS. the art you keep for yourself?
I post the vast majority of my art online, and kind of always have done. I've mostly kept my NSFW stuff to myself (partly because I never end up finishing the drawings bcs I'm lazy and hoard WIPs :P) but now that I've made an NSFW persona on here that might end up changing.

Anything that might inspire you subconsciously? (e.g. This horse wasn't meant to look like The Last Unicorn but I see it.)
Story beats and character archetypes from films and TV shows I like. Lonnie wasn't supposed to be a carbon copy of Rye, but I accidentally made them near identical 😭😭

A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate?
Any physical art. My hands don't work, I have terrible motor skills and my fingers sieze up when I try so I have SO much respect for people who can do it. Especially people with the same issues as me.

What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in?
So many ... my old Warrior Cats comic from 2016, my visual novel idea (though I am turning that into a stag play instead), my set of novels about Dmitri, etc. etc. I never finish anything ever.

Favorite piece of clothing to draw?
Flared trousers!

Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what?
I alternate between music and video essays usually mid-drawing.

Easiest part of body to draw?
Eyes and mouth. Also tummy.

A creator who you admire but whose work isn't your thing?
Anyone whose art I've dropped a like but haven't followed.

Hyper realism :| back when I did studies my mum would always praise it so much more than my actual art and tell me I should draw realism more. So I stopped doing studies and didn't improve for several years.

90% of my friends rlly struggle drawing men, which I think is funny because I pretty much ONLY draw men. And I struggle drawing women. We balance each other out perfectly.

Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways?
Anime-inspired art styles are gorgeous tbh I love them ... especially ppl who go crazy shading the eyes. Wowowow!

What physical exercises do you do before drawing, if any?
NONE I'VE BEEN SLACKING x_x

Do you use different layer modes?
Yepppp! For shading and lighting, and I mess around with them for textures and gradient maps too.

Do your references include stock images?
Sometimes! Adorkastock my beloved <3

Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by?
My OCs have been compared to other characters before and every single time it is the most insulting comparison humanly possible. EXCEPT FOR PEOPLE SAYING LASZLO HAS HARRY DUBOIS VIBES. That's a very high compliment.

What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended?
Can't think of any off the top of my head.

Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with?
I don't warm up because my warmups turn into finished pieces and then I never get to the drawing I was warming up for x_x

Any art events you have participated in the past? (e.g. Zines.)
Ermmm... ArtFight? Does ArtFight count? Probably not. This year will be my 9th year on AF though if anyone cares. That's kinda neat I think.

OH, I participated in Highly Irregular Fargo Week 2024 over on Tumblr and AO3, where I did both writing and artwork for the prompts ^__^
