As most of you are aware, James Earl Jones had passed away this year. And this news happened sometime after I watched "The Lion King" to celebrate the film's 30th anniversary.
Also, starting this year, I'm going to watch The Simpsons' very first Treehouse of Horror annually around Halloween to honor James' memory.
(BTW, Season 2's Treehouse of Horror episode had James Earl Jones as a guest star.)
Another reason I left DeviantArt is because some users over there are, to put it lightly, too obsessed with things they really like.
For example: This morning, I got a strange message in my DA account's inbox from someone who insisted that Movie!Sonic should have human feet.
Thankfully, I don't get messages like that all the time but I thought I'd bring this up for anyone who probably went through the same thing I did at some point in their lives.
As a kid, I used to love "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius". Now that I'm an adult, I realized that it wasn't that great.
The "romance" between Jimmy and Cindy felt extremely forced, characters like Sheen and Hugh got more attention due to their meme status, each episode had a handful of plot holes, and the lessons are very heavy handed (The worst example being "The Trouble with Clones" where it had a heavy-handed lesson about spending more time with your friends and family).
But my biggest gripe with the show is that it didn't have any clever writing or scientific accuracy despite being a sci-fi show. I know you're supposed to have fun while watching a TV show you like but if that show puts more focus on the comedy and less on quality writing, then you're not gonna have a good time with it.
