Hi. I'm DangerMouseFan1981. I'm not really much of an artist but I do appreciate art and the hard-working people who make them. ^^

I guess it's finally time to throw my hat into the ring and talk about why I left Deviantart.
Long story short, things on DA are gradually getting a little out of hand. I won't go into too much detail about that but let's just say some DA users have been posting things that are either not art-related at all or not carefully crafted by hand.
I rarely use DA these day but I'm not going to abandon my DA account completely because I still have a few friends over there, and I want to continue supporting talented artists and the hard work they put into their work. (^_^)
Another thing I dislike about "Danny Phantom" is that some of the adults aren't very likable. Whether if it's teachers favoring the popular kids over the unpopular kids or parents being very closed-minded.
This is why I wish there were likable adults in DP. The biggest example being the extremely underrated Principal Ishiyama. She only appeared in a few episodes and wasn't given much character. If it were up to me, I would make her the sort of principal who actually cares about the wellbeing of her students and has a zero tolerance to bullying.
Here's a good example I had in my head for a while:
/////
Dash: (to Danny)
Defacing my letter jacket? That's a violation punishable by wedgie!
Principal Ishimara: (to Dash)
Ahem! And taking your anger out on others a violation punishable by suspension.
/////
Anyway, if the adults in DP were not as unlikable as some of the adults from FOP, we could've had a few more supporting characters.
There's no denying that Illumination's Mario movie was actually pretty good. However, I personally think it could've used a bit more polish to make it even better.
There are some nitpicks I have with the film but the biggest ones are the runtime, Luigi being sidelined for most of the film, the pop songs, and some of the casting choices.
Here's a list of actors I would've picked:
- John DiMaggio as Mario
(I imagine John would use his Jake voice from "Adventure Time". Also, since John would voice Mario, Uncle Arthur would probably be voiced by Maurice LaMarche.) - Nicole Oliver as Princess Peach
(It would be pretty cool if Nicole went from voicing the princess of Equestria to voicing the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom.) - Kate Higgins as Pauline
- Samantha Kelly as some background Toads
- Tru Valentino and Frank Todaro (The voices of Cuphead and Mugman respectfully) as the two Toad guards of Peach's castle.
- Rob Paulson as Kamek
- Either Brian Doyle-Murray or Bill Farmer (The voice of Hop Pop from "Amphibia") as Cranky Kong
Also, what if Donkey Kong and Bowser had two voice actors?
-
When DK speaks, he's voiced by Dan Castellanetta (because he's voiced monkeys before). But when he does his usual in-game grunts and yells, he's voiced by Takashi Nagasako (DK's original voice actor). Just imagine hearing Takashi doing DK's Tarzan yell before DK himself enters the Arena of Kong.
-
As for Bowser, he's still voiced by Jack Black. But when he's enraged to the point where he acts like a savage animal who can't talk, that's when Kenny James (Bowser's original voice actor) takes over. This voice change would probably happen during the climax.
Anyway, I just wanted to get all that off my chest. But now with that out of the way, here's a question I have for you guys.
If you could make any changes to the Mario movie, what would you change and why?
(Please note: I mean no offense to anyone who still enjoys FOP and DP.)
After learning more about Butch Hartman, it makes me wish "Fairly OddParents" had a shorter run on TV, and that Steve Marmel was the creator and executive producer of "Danny Phantom".
The original FOP suffered a decline in quality due to a number of reasons (Putting more focus on Mr. Turner and Crocker, characters like Chester and A.J. being put on the sidelines, over-the-top expressions, mean-spirited humor, etc).
As for DP, the idea of ghosts being creatures from another dimension instead of souls of the dead was probably a huge red flag for some people. And Season 3 was, to put it lightly, not very good.
Today marks the 5th anniversary of "Infinity Train", one of the best Cartoon Network shows of all time.
The show might be cancelled but we must keep its memory alive for future generations!
