Hi. I'm DangerMouseFan1981. I'm not really much of an artist but I do appreciate art and the hard-working people who make them. ^^

(Spoilers for anyone who haven't watched "Win or Lose" yet.)

As the title suggests, I choose to believe that Kai from Pixar's "Win or Lose" is still trans.
In fact, if it were up to me, I would make a few tiny changes to the "I Got It" episode.
/////
For example:
• My first change would be to get rid of the eyelashes and earings in Kai's old photos of herself when she played baseball.
I can't explain it but the eyelashes and earings felt a little forced to me.
• My second change would be to have James, Kai's dad, say "Hold on. Is this why you changed your name?" instead of "But you were so good at baseball." (Because he says that line again after the title sequence and I didn't want him to say it twice.)
My personal headcanon is that being accepted by a co-ed softball team gave Kai enough courage to open up to her dad about herself being trans, which leads into James saying, "This is a lot. But, listen, nothing can change the fact that I love you."

Also, there's nothing wrong with kid shows being really subtle when it comes to tackling certain grown-up subjects. And "Bluey" is the queen of subtlety.
Anyway, those are my thoughts on Kai and how I still see her as trans. I hope you guys enjoyed reading it. ^^
