I'm kinda obsessed with the concept of them lately.
Particularly KanePixel's interpretation and elements.
But I also really enjoyed The Backrooms "The Complex: Found Footage" game.
Wanna throw some of my characters into them... thought about making some short VN type of game, or motion comic, maybe?
If I were to do a VN game I guess I'd need branching storylines... otherwise it'd just be a "click-through" simulator and kinda boring?
I always enjoyed the storytelling and look of Nitro+Chiral games. I just don't know jack about programming, so idk.
Perhaps just a comic or even short story with some pictures... the last one is probably the fastest lol.
Which streaming service do you believe is better for both streamers and watchers?
Which one do you prefer as streamer?
Which one do you prefer as watcher?
Why?
Apparently Kick allows for bigger revenue for streamers and it's easier to graner a following there vs Twitch, but is also bot infested (or so I heard)
What's your experience?
What do they meeeeaaaaaan?
I really hope Sheezy works out the awards description page soon, I want to lean more about them and what each individual award means!
What are your recent food cravings?
Personally, I have really bad cravings for a local American Restaurant's slow-cooked BBQ ribs
LOOK AT THEM!! Look how good and mouth-watering they look omg... I want them so badly rn... corn bread and coleslaw and a tasty beer with them, yes pls!!
Can't wait for the weather to get warmer again so BBQ season is back in general (we already had BBQ 2 weeks ago when the weather was super hot n summer-y)
Tell me about your cravings, show me - if there was one dish that you could magically make appear in front of you right now, which one would it be?
Mind you, I only joined 2 weeks ago.
The idea is that this place will only continue feeling as welcoming and interactive if we all put some time into fostering a community like that. That means not just faving and running like most of us do on fast-paced social media, but to actually spend a minute or two to leave a comment on people's creations.
Consider that your comments are also promotions for yourself; people will see your avatars, your signatures (if you have any) and might want to check out your userpage based on that and the merrit of your comments themselves.
Unlike on social media where the pieces will eventually get flushed away by newer content and might become inaccessible after a while, what you leave under someone's art here might factually be seen forever.
Please don't just come here to dump your art and then vanish into the night (I mean you can do that if you want to, but I am asking all of us to pls not do that for the following reasons:)
Everyone enjoys a little bit of praise and positive interactions on their works. If you want to continue to receive, consider doing your part in building a community and giving some, too.
A comment as simple as having a single, short, positive thing to say about one particular part of the image you're looking at and enjoying a lot ("nice lienarts" "fantatsic choice of colors!" "Love the character's expression!" etc) can do so much in uplifting the artist's spirit and motivate them to continue creating and sharing their works.
I really hope we can foster some positive, interactive community here.
But we all got to pitch in a little to make it work!
