A CHALLENGER APPEARED!!!
First time I'm joining. I'm having the first week of July off work, so I wanna participate at least a lil bit.
after that first week, I can't guarantee for nothing. I also don't guarantee for revenge attacks. But I promise to make an effort to "pay back".
I stil need to set up my profile so it's empty atm, but here it is:

Team Seafoam ftw!!
Ever had a customer or client who was absolute ass to deal with?
Tell me about it!
Also if you want to despair... there are plenty of awful clients out there
I'm lucky I never truly had any shitty customers... I guess the worst experience I had yet was someone bailing on me bc another artist whom they were friends with and who hated my guts told them I'd steal their money or smth... so they asked for a refund, which I gave them asap. They got 2 sketches I did during the sketch process for free due to commission cancellation :T good for them, I guess.
Another time I had a commissioner who first wanted a refsheet, then changed their mind to just an illustration mid-proccess when they decided they didn't like the concepts I presented (mind you, I was working from description alone, the commissioner didn't give me any existing artworks of the character).
All in all more of an annoyance than hell, but yeah. Like I said. I got lucky so far.
But it is pretty harrowing when your commissioner keeps changing their mind on what they want. I wished all commissioners wer capable of holding on to a vision.
I also work at the Farmer's Market every Saturday, and one time when I was beinga stand-in for another vendor at another market I had an old couple get super upset with me bc I didn't have a dairy product they had ordered the previous week bc the boss didn't pack enough of that product. I appologized for the inconvenience and they continued to chew me out for like 5 minutes and I was THIS close to snapping into their faces and tell them to GTFO. I AM SORRY, OKAY??? Not my fault, stop using me as your vent piece to air out our anger, you entitled pieces >:T
They demanded I call my boss then and to have her deliver another oen of the product later when she was picking up the leftover produce, which I did. The lady then came around at pick-up time again and I swear she was deathglaring me bc it took like 15 minutes before my boss arrived.
The nerve of some people, man.
If you could encompass the state of your brain today in a single video, what'd that video be?
Post it!
Anyway, this is me right now, mentally
β οΈ P.S.: partial nudity warning: the video is sfw but it's a bunch of dudes with naked upper body being submerged in water
I hope especially you young people out here read this
I'm over 3 decades old by now and I WISHED someone would have bothered to tell me to invest in stocks when I was entering the workforce and getting a salary - I'd probably be rolling in dough now.
2 weeks ago I invested in Nvidia stock, since the prospect of it going up in value is there and it'll probably continue to climb with the neverending need for new graphic processors (especially now that AI garbage generators has entered the fray)
Within those 2 weeks my investment grew by 1500β¬. For doing nothing at all. Easiest money of my life!!
Now, before you get some massive FOMO, remember:** investing in the stock market is a gamble.**
It's much less of a gamble than, say, taking your hard-earned cash to a nearby casino and feeding slot machines in hopes you'll get a GRAND payout (I'd know, I've worked in the slots industry - the bank always wins so don't even bother, it's a predatory industry funding itself on the backs of it's addicted customers - don't be one of them), but it's a gamble nontheless.
Companies can lose value from one day to another, and their stock with them, meaning your investment will decrease with it
Most often though there is a cause or reason, like a company shitting the bed politically or economically
Alternatively, you can hire a stock broker to invest your money for you, but that also means they'll get a percentage off your gains.
Don't forget that you have to pay taxes on your gains when you sell your stocks and take the money out. Because apparently, we aren't taxed enough yet with all the taxes that already exist.
Why am I talking about this boring old people stuff?
Well, if you're like me and have some dreams and haven't given up the one where you get to own a house and some ground, and maybe some other nice material things that cost money, you might be interested in how to acquire more money with having to do almost nothing to achieve that.
So take this wisdom and run!
What is "sploinked"? - you may ask.
It's something that was spoiled for you by shitty people because your brain now associates certain memes, movies, songs, bands, shows, themes, games with said shitty people and their negativity, therefore making it unable for you to enjoy them yourself any longer since the association is now purely negative.
Clearly Urban Dictiuonary has some ideas of it's own what the word means, but to me it's something that got spoiled by other people
Tales from the Borderlands and Borderlands in general was almost sploinked for me because for a while my brain associated it with a pair of narcissists who did a real number on some of my friends.
Has any media ever been sploinked for you, and if yes, which media was it? Were you able to unsploink it?
