I am sick of these coporate-dick-in-mouth career politicians, NONE OF US, the citizens of the many nations of Europe, have elected, dictating us how we live our lives.

As of today, I can't access my favorite artists on twitter anymore because of some cockblocking "you need to submit your ID for age verfication" bullshit.

I AM ALMOST 40.
I grew up in an internet that was a lot less padded/safeguarded/corporate-scrubbed - and guess what? I turned out OK.

I don't need anyone's permission or ticket-check or whatever to access the art I want to access. I am an adult and have been for decades now, I can look after myself. I CAN DECIDE FOR MYSELF. And so can all the other adults around me. I don't need some nanny state and it's stupid nany state law to control what content I can and can't look at.
Besides, kids are creative, they'll find a workaround to access art behind a barrier. I know I did.

The EU is not democratic. The EU is corrupt. As far as I am concerned, the EU is an illigimate organisation akin to a mafia run by some loser career good-for-nothing politicians and criminals who are in the pockets of bankers and their saliva-licking lobbyists.

By the way, their excuse for this bullshit is "protecting the children" (from seeing raunchy art, I guess?!) - which is a stinking heap of a lie.
They already have all the tools in place to make sure kids are safe - from the actual danger, i.e. groomers. But do you think they'd do anything about predators sliding into the DMs of 13 years old on Instagram and facebook? Or about groomer discord servers? No. Because this isn't about children, or their safeguarding. This is about control. This is about you being unable to browse anonymously anymore, which is your right to do. This is about you not accessing information from alternate outlets anymore.

I hate them with the hot passion of a bazillion burning suns and the EU should have been abolished last decade already when it started to dictate it's member states how to run their countries. We'd have so many less problems on our hands now.
If Brussels wasn't so far away, I'd go and throw rotten eggs at the EU headquarters right now.

In any case, GET LOUD!
PROTEST! Preferably in real life, because these suckers do not care one bit about petitions, but they will tremble in the face of the collective rage of us common people!
