Pencil sketch of Viola, an anthropomorphic lioness, seen from the waist up, clenching her fists and glaring at the viewer. She is unclothed except for a cloth band around her chest. Her fists, and to a lesser extent her arms, have a more unfinished, messy appearance than the rest of the drawing.

Her expression is a stern frown. Though her brow is furrowed, with a deep crease over the bridge of her nose, her eyes are wide open.

She has a small tuft of fur on top of her head that doesn't lay flat. Similar patches of fur can be seen on her cheeks and the back of her head, and the fur beneath her chin is scruffy.

She is muscular, and not skinny but with little fat apart from a full bust (by more-or-less realistic humanoid standards) and some very slight love handles.

Considered a partial nudity tag but decided against it since this is less revealing than your typical bathing suit. (Yes I know that's not quite what a strophium actually looks like.)

Anyway, this sketch from 2018 (back when finishing the comic in a year was still theoretically possible) is possibly my favorite drawing of this character. Yeah, there are definitely some faults and I definitely just gave up on the hands. She could use more body fat and maybe some scars. But this was when she clicked. I would go on to make revisions to the design, but this is when I knew who this character was. This was her.
