Back in summer of 2010, I started my first serious attempt at making an ongoing comic, called "Infinity." It only got about 16 very sporadic pages before in 2012 I concluded I had bit off more than I could chew with it and gave it an early end and moved on to other projects. Nevertheless, the experience was still a huge learning experience, and my art quality had indeed improved a fair bit by the end of it thanks to working on it, so I deemed it worthy of reposting here, if just for that.
A TRANSLATION OF THE ALIEN TEXT
Hamilton: "I can speak Sciurinae very well."
De'naire: "Indeed you can."
Hamilton: "I do not get the chance to speak to your tail often."
De'naire: "..." "I believe you mean 'the chance to speak to your race.'"
Someone's a bit rusty, it seems.
I had made this one with colored outlines instead of black, having worked out a method of doing so, but while I liked the result, it proved too complicated so I went back to black outlines on the next page. The backgrounds were also done entirely digitally for the first time with this page, done so I could ensure precise perspective for the angles I was envisioning (I had no faith I could do it traditionally-drawn).
