i've heard some rumblings about the discord moderators being discord moderators blowing up on twitter and tiktok recently. i dont really know the details but given that i dont really use big discords for events and groups like these i dont really gaf and as long as its not like. Official Statements using the Official Accounts im going to assume its just a rogue moderator being shitty. or whatever. as a reddit lurker shitty mods are a dime a dozen idgaf
honestly though in my opinion if i could run artfight i would be keeping shit locked down so tightly the only way you can interact with site staff is through feedback forms because its very evident the userbase skews young and towards.... eesh.... the toyhouse crowd. and we all know how insane the toyhouse crowd gets, i feel like adopts culture in general is always like 5 steps away from inventing NFTs again just so people don't steal the idea of putting a bow on your characters head. thats my justification for why i would make things that locked down. ive seen the worst of it.
but yeah anyway. art fight. im in the process of making new pages for my object show ocs that ive been developing since last year, and im having a lot of fun putting the finishing touches on these concepts yay.
