i think everyone who Aspires to work in creative industries should think about doing smaller scale stuff at least a couple times! try making zines! minigames! web pages! comics! short films! even Big Names like rebecca sugar got her start in the zine and comic scene. you don't really need to assume your first break will be working on a huge industry cartoon with 900 other people... not that i assume anyone seriously thinks that way all the time, but i feel like it is a kind of thing a lot of young artists assume about being An Artist. idk. maybe im just too exposed to online fandoms full of young children and kind of observe patterns in how people act about Creative Works.
but anyways i'm like... considering... rotating... thinking about my guys (ocs)... it would be so cool to make stuff of them that wasn't these huge projects that will consume my entire life... this may or may not come to fruition eventually who knows. anyone have any cool life hacks about writing short comics/zines/etc that they want to share. or anything about my Above Revelation Thats Probably Not Really A Revelation Its Pretty Obvious To Any Artist Over The Age Of 25
