... is like playing a game of roulette: you never know what you'll get.
Sometimes I drink coffee, I get tired. I could immediately take a nap after a couple of sips.
Other times it makes me just more scatterbrained or hyper, making it even harder to focus.
At rare times it hits just right and gives me more focus and clarity. This is the prefered outcome, but almost never happens.
Most of the time when I drink coffee, I just get short-tempered and aggravated, typically by stuff I'd usually never lose my cool over.
It seems to me like caffeine hits best when accompanied by (refined) sugars, too.
What are you experiences, and what do you recommend instead of caffeine to mitigate ADHD problems like lack of focus/dopamine?
