'Ello~

It's been a while.
My new job's alright, I enjoy the office and my colleagues and that we do have a little bit more creative control over our projects again instead of being micro(mis)managed from above.

New job which doesn't allow for animals to be brought along into the office plus my senior dog getting senior-dog-ier (meaning every second or third day I come home from work and I have to wet-wipe my entire flat bc of piss or shit or both).
Getting up every day at 5 am to walk him properly before work is also Big Oof for someone like me who generally doesn't like to get up before 8 am if I can avoid it. ESPECIALLY not in winter when it's both cold and dark >|:(

Those who are following by Bluesky are already in the loop about my dog biting me in my left hand's thumb (I'm a lefty) and also my right arm in what can only described as a choleric, dementia-induced moment. I've been kinda "Out of Service" since - until the thumb pad heal, anyway.
The guy giving anesthetic apparently put it into a weird spot too bc it hurt as fuck when he applied it and also my thumb feels kinda numb, thanks for the free nerve damage on my drawing hand lol. It'll probably fully heal in a couple of weeks but still, man.

So no new art for the time being, even though I'm itching to colorize some of the drawings I did on the train around Christmas.

I also generally haven't had much time to engage with Sheezy as I used to when I joined up.
I want to spend more time here though, but yeah, life's busy busy busy.

I might nuke my inbox bc it's already closing in on the +200 submissions and coming back to all that art waiting on me so sift through does put kind of a dent into re-engaging with the website and community. (sry!)

2025 is shaping up to be a shit-tier year really quickly, huh? Let's make the best of it and keep creating :v let's bring a little joy onto this forsaken rock lol
